Why no subscription and no ads
A focus app that earns more the longer you stare at it has the wrong incentives. Ads would put the very distraction you're avoiding inside the app meant to protect you from it. A subscription would charge you forever for a tool that should simply work. So Pagewood will have neither: a fair one-time price for people who want to support it, and nothing else.

Will Pagewood ever have a subscription?
No. Pagewood will never have a subscription or ads. The plan is a single, optional one-time unlock, with a free trial first.
Can I buy seeds?
No. Seeds are earned only by focusing (1 per focused minute) and can never be bought.
What happens to my data if I don't buy later?
Your journal stays yours. It lives on your phone, and you can export it as CSV at any time.
